I purchased a Key West Bayreef 196 with a suzuki 150 efi in 2000. The boat runs like a dream esp. in the rough. My problem is suzuki. The motor seemed to chew up spark plugs then after 240 fishing hours it blew a gasket. The dealer has told me that Suzuki has problems blowing gaskets. Has anyone else had this problem or can give some advice to help out my problem. The worse thing is the warranty. On the third year of a three year warranty, it covers little or nothing. Now I have a $10,000 motor still under it's three year warranty, not yet paid for, that is busted. I suggest not a Suzuki! I guess the 6 year warranty is joke also!
