Block from site on phone

Last night I tried to log in and it blocked me out. I can't even go to the forums. Unauthorized access to this area. Both computers are working fine. It always worked fine before this was the first time it happened.

Throw me a bone here how do i fix it. Asus zenphone

Resident browser? My Samsung android uses a pared down version of Chrome IIRC, but offers virtually no addon/extension support beyond their own stuff......

cookie enabled?

if cookies are enabled, and the phone worked elsewhere online, I'd probably get a Chrome or Firefox app and try from that app to make sure it isnt a compatibility problem w Asus's browser. M Which IT/admin needs to know....

We have ATT service. But last night when it happened I was using the nursing homes wi-fi where my wife works. But today at home it is doing the same thing. Yea it worked forever. Even through the changeover when the computers wouldn't.

It was working. But i wasnt logged in. I tried to log in and it blocked me.

I just re read you post. This phone uses google chrome as its browser.

I just cleared cookies and browsing data nothing. I ever tried incognito mode. And that is a pain now i got to go though a bunch of drama logging into everything. This site just dont like my phone anymore.

I can't use the store nothing. exact message is

you are not authorized to access this page

I give it some time and see if it figures it out. Isnt a huge deal. I just like reading post while i wait on the Admiral picking her up from work.

Okay tried something new. I went to the old website as if i was a international order. It lets me log in there using the old password. But i try to go to forums and I am blocked and logged out.

Have you ever used the nursing home wifi to access iboats before?

I've been places w free wifi that block iboats but allow facebook and another forum I frequent, and others that allow iboats bit block facebook.....

Now that you've tried multiple devices, I'd bet you arent logged in on whichever gave you the last blocked message.

I notified 3 admin/IT staff, so hopefully they can weigh in or at least take a look.

I know it doesnt make sense sometimes, but you can surf the forum and post (I think you can even see pix) when you arent logged in to the forum.

I have sent you a PM, DO NOT OPEN IT. Leave it unread in your PM inbox. I have an unopened 1 in mine. Everytime I access the forum, I check to see if my PM notify red dot @ my user name/avatar shows the 1 PM. If it doesnt, I know Ixm not logged into the forum.

The Mods have mentioned it, members have posted it, they've said its been noted and will ve addressed.

There has been virtually no break, even for the holidays, since the changes were made just before Christmas. They've added staff and resources to wrangle this beast.

Making the user experience better is a top priority across the site.

Is it a mobile version of Chrome or a 'lite' version from Asus?

Android/Linux/Windows based operating system?

Last I can think of is to turn phone off....

My android reminds me to turn it off once a week to dump temp files and caches. And on my previous Android, it made a difference accessing this site and IIRC only this site.

On it, as the available memory IN the phone (not @ SD card) approached 95% full, I'd get error messages loading some sites, esp those w lots of ads, bells, whistles, widgets, java scripts and etc, like iboats and FB, but not 2 other forums I frequent. Even running a mobile version of AdBlock Plus, 1 of the few addons for Samsung Internet (Chrome 'lite').

I am restarting it now. It is a linux based system. And i do think memory is full. It said it couldn't update something just the other day for this reason.

Restarting didn't help I am messing with it still

Can you try going to a website you've not been to before (something like Yahoo, CNN, Foxnews, whatever)? If you're opening sites you've been to before you may be pulling up latent data.

I looked quickly, but I didn't see if anyone suggested requesting a new password through your phone? Give that a try, your old one stored in the phone may have gotten corrupted somehow. I think you can reuse your old password after getting the email, you will have to do the reset using the email link. And you should get an reset email fairly quickly.

Okay I got in finally. at the top of the google chrome in the phone version.

Hit the 3 dots brings down the menu.
Bottom settings.
site settings.

Went in and erased all the I boats marked ones.

Signed into I boats at the store. Now it is letting me on the forum and marking the read post correctly. But my avitar and messages isnt there.

Now tap it like i am logging in and it goes to my profile and i am logged in. Go back to forum and it is showing the avitar and messages. The red dot.

But it is working i can live with it.

One more thing i erased the speed dial I had and made a new one.

Like i said goes right to the hull restoration forum i am now showing logged in and everything.

So whatever you guys did it worked or the site and the phone came to a understanding.
