Bleeding trim unit

My trim unit sounds like it has air in it when I am raising the motor, and kind of skips. Is there a way to bleed the unit?

We will need more info. Year, model pump etc.<br />Not all are the same. Some you can bleed some you can't. I don't know much about many models but someone will. Like I said we will need more info on it. Thanks, Tim

Is a 83 150 merc with a arco trim unit inside the boat
