Bleeding oil automix system. Tohatsu 90hp

I have cleaned out all the oil lines and the filter. what is the best way to make sure i have got all the air out of this system before i run it?

Get a 25 lit tank and run premix fuel through the engine for the next two hours. Then check your lines and you can see if there are any air pockets left.

Thanks Elvin. I was thinking that the pump might not pump if it got a big enough airlock in it?

You can disconnect the hoses from where they go to the engine ports and let the engine run at an idle. When the oil starts coming out of the end you can reconnect them, but you normally would not develop an airlock. ( It could happen, but its rare) With premix it doesn't really matter if you have a momentary air lock. Once the system has purged though, your safe.

hoses?? my system just tee's into the fuel line to the carbs. same idea though i guess...

Depends on the year the engine was made. Some, of them inject behind the manifold.
