Blasting Holiday!

So the Holiday is gutted and I want to strip the hull.

Do any of you guys have experience with Blasting? Can it be done with a cheap suction blaster with sand and a homestyle (2HP 6 Gallon Compressor) ?

Would it take forever?

I just would like to use a blaser instead of the dizzy-goo...
