Blank Emails

Are any of you receiving blank emails?

This isn't an answer to your question, but it might be related. Since the upgrade, I haven't recieved any emails about threads I am subscribed to.

I have been getting a bunch of blank emails, hundreds a day, since the upgrade. I updated 1 of my own Topics, and for a few hours that day, I got notifications that my own Topic had gotten a new post.

Since then, the blank emails stopped coming at all for 4 or 5 days. Then started again just recently....

I think of it as a challenge to see if I can find the Topic that's gotten updated

I have never received any blank emails, since day one.

I get blank 'notifications' to posts to my subscribed threads. I have opted out of getting email notifications in my settings. (not sure if that is related)

I could opt out, but on the off chance it makes a difference, I want to leave as much of my forum preferences however they were when the upgrade problems started. That way any changes I make won't have to be redone when they get it running right. Plus its a signal that there has been an improvement when I do get actual email notices that do have content. the blanks don't bother me at all....

Those receiving blank emails, are your Email Notification Settings set to "On".

User Settings > Notifications > Email Notifications

I Just checked to confirm. Yes my email noticiation is ON

Used to get hundreds, then they turned them off for awhile, Checked late last night. I had/deleted 15 emails. Just checked again, between 7:16 and 7:31 AM, I had 4 blank email. They have now stopped again it seems. My Email notifications have been off the whole time. "Set to off, through message center only".

I have never received any blank emails, since day one.

I can send you some, if you'd like. That will create some empty space in your e-mail client. I can also fax you some blank paper if you run low.

Last one I received was at 10:31am today and my notification was turned off..........
