Welcome to the sound of a Prime Minister who is about to leave office.
He's leaving by this time next year and his successor is going to be handed this as a possible way out.
Body bags don't equal votes and with the political opposition wheeling out a new young kid on the block the party in power are running scared.
Sorry to say this guys but you may well end up on your own in Iraq. Some people will say it won't make any difference but I suspect it will, especially politically for you.
Hope I'm wrong but it seems likely that the next prime minister may pull the plug on this joint venture and possibly Afghanistan too.
Do you think that just maybe if we didn't know or if there wasn't a majority that wants peace who live there, it would be much easier to rid the planet of the insurgents ?
