i just bought a boat motor and trailer the trailer was homemade.i payed 100$ so its not a big loss.well we towed the boat about 10 miles and 1/2 mile from my house the boat trailer came off the ball and broke the safety chains.across 2 lanes of traffic draging the bottom back of the boat and hit a pole.it moved the pole 8 inches the motor was up so it did not get hurt but the trailer and the boat is a write off.my friends say i should fix the boat but i did not really like the boat to start with.it was just too good of a deal to pass up for 100$
