black to blue cdi boxes

i have a 1985 force 125 with the black cdi boxes on it , is a blue cdi box compatable , i want to buy a extra cdi box and i found one for a great price but its a blue one , please let me know, thank you guys

dont do it. i thought the same thing and ended up returning the blue one. it has different connectors

its not a big deal to change connectors if you have a hands

It's been too long to remember the reasoning, but it is NOT recommended to mix the boxes.

CDI has a tech line that you can call and find out what the differences are.
