Black, red, and gold Johnson v4, Anything special? w/pic

Can anyone tell me if this outboard is anything special. All I know is its a Johnson v4 1600cc. The colors seem unusual to me. I searched because I thought I had seen a post about this before, but I didn't find anything.

That is a "commercial" model.

Most of the "commercials" had some heavier duty components.

The V-4's had V-6 gearcases.

It was up for government auction and I thought I might try to get a bargain and maybe resell. Checked the auction yesterday and it said 2 days left. Checked it today and its closed. Sold it for 161 bucks.
