Black max trim issue

If anyone could diagnose this noise it would be very much appreciated. https://youtu.be/vsmSn0SbBpw

The reservoir is full of what appears to be atf fluid. I see no obvious leaks. The motor is a black max xr2 150 serial A181657. I got the boat handed down to me and it sat for a while. When I first tried to use the trim it wouldn't budge at all. So being the master mechanic I am (not) I grabbed my trusty hammer and have a few light taps to the motor area and it started moving but I get this noise and if left at full tilt it gradually falls. I didn't hit the hydraulic cylinder, I'm not a total moron. I already know I'll probably be roasted for the hammer wrench... Any and all help is appreciated, thanks!

Wow, so I took the pump motor off today only to find it slap full of oil.. so I'm guessing that the pressed in seal on top of the valve body is shot? I'm going to try and clean the motor up and find a couple o- rings that will fit in between the shaft and the remaining portion of the seal (wish me luck).. Just figured I would follow up with my findings on the post. Should you hear a noise like a seal in heat has boarded the rear of your vessel while trimming up, chances are your motor is full of oil like mine was.

I'm shocked by the lack of responses here... I turn to this forum for just about every question I have about my old mercy. Thankfully they are already posted and answered! Just a follow up on the seal situation, the o-rings were not a fix and oil still filled up the motor again.. This time I think she's dead. If anyone's actually reading my post and knowledgeable about trim motor replacements. Are the universal motors on ebay sealed units? That way I can only one on and not worry about the bad shaft seal. Or will I be in the same boat (pun intended) with the new motor filling up with oil?

Yes, PTT motors from TYCO and Sierra are sealed. I would check to see if the tilt rod is corroded and binding when trimming. I would also check to make sure the voltage to the PTT motor is good.

Depending on the year of your motor, you have either a 2 wire motor or a three wire motor. Replace with the same if you can. Sometimes the 3 wire motors are updated to a 2 wire motor and the solenoids are replaced with relays. In that case you will need a kit (versus just a motor) to replace them.
