Hi All
I don't know if its because Oprah was here but I am YET to get my xmas present on the water! Anyhow, the Engine is a 125HP Force, and I noticed the prvious owner has installed an aftermarket fuel filter. Its a big one too. Would this be starving the engine of fuel pressure at high RPM? Again- its only revving to about 3800 or so, and I have been thinking prop/fuel/spark. I have bought a comp tester, however, the engine is less than 8 hours since a complete rebuild, and I wondered if the fuel filter was a possible cause for this.
Cheers from Sydney!
