Bimini top zipper slider repair

The zipper on our Bimini top separated at the base during a high wind storm. The zipper will not budge past the separation, but does not appear broken. Is there a way to just replace the slider without having to replace the entire zipper?

I know this reply is late, but I've been off the forum for a couple months and I figured I'll respond, I'm surprised you didn't get a response. Hopefully you've already found a solution.

Also, welcome to participating in the forum. The zipper may be repairable without getting too crazy. If it were me, I would bring it to a custom marine upholstery/top shop. Those people encounter issues like this all the time. If you don't know of one, any marina in your area will know where there is.
