I just purchased a clean 1998 Lund Pro Angler 1700 SS and I'm getting ready to order a bimini top from this forum sponsor. I would like recommendations which top offered would be the best choice for my boat. What is a bit confusing is that a couple are 73-78" wide and a couple are 79-84" wide, all listed as fitting my boat.

Re: Bimini Top Recommendations

Measure your boat from the center of the top rail on one side to the center of the top rail on the other. Once you know that measurement, then consider that there's flexibility in these things, but the least amount of the stress the better, of course. In my case, for example, the actual measurement was 70 1/2" and I bought a top that ranged from 68-72". BTW, there's an Ebay seller than has tops right now for $120ish. They're not the quality that you can get here from iBoats or your local Marine Merchant, but they're definitely worth the money and save a TON of cash.
