Nate, never did hear how the fishin' was for ya...????<br />Did ya do any good?<br />Srippers are pushing big shad into the bank in the eve. now, lots a 7-12lb'ers being caught from bank and I found out the hard way, just how far a 2oz slab will fly from the bank.....straight through my port windshield after it snapped a guys line when he casted...missed me by maybe 6 inches. Never seen it, just heard the crash. Nobody on the bank (about 5 or 6 guys) said anything, but there was one guy headed out, back up the bank.<br />I was a GOOD 100 yrds from shore....

Well when I got down there, I launched right by your house, at about 4:45, so I didnt want to call and wake you. We ended up catching about 15 sandies before the wind picked up, and got blown off the lake. <br /><br />On a side note, I think it some of those guys down there need to take a boating safety class. I have never been around such a$$holes. I mean, we got on a school of sandies, and within seconds, there were atleast 10 boats running full bore right at us and through the school we were fishing. I dont think I will be back to that lake anytime soon.

Man, I hate to hear that, but you're right.....we have some problem child people that LOVE to bust-up a good school and don't know any better...<br />Can I have your permission to post your feelings on a local site without mentioning your name????

Ahhh, Christmas Crappie....how could it be any better..<br />I'll use your post on a local lake info site as a reminder to those involved to be courtious(sp?) to others...<br />Thanks.<br />BTW, the 2oz slab through the windshield is a 452.00 replacement item!!!!!!<br />So much for my new "Christmas Mazco"....

Did you try Cadillac plastics(sp) out of Ft Worth? They make aftermarket windshields.
