Bass boats love this combo of huge motors and little transoms. Nice open cracks on both sides of transom and wiring boot. The ones at the boot could just be screws that aren't counter sunk, they never are.

Is that a crack in the fiberglass in the corner of the transom? That is usually where the cracks start.

most bass boats come with a 10 year hull warranty to the original owner, some come with a lifetime hull warranty. unfortunately the warranty is non-transferable in many cases. Have a former co-worker that fishes BASS tourneys and is on the third hull under the factory supplied 250hp from transom cracks

If you are a pro in a tournament, speed is of the essence. If the boat breaks, no problem. The sponsors pay for it all.

If you are a regular guy, why do you need to go that fast when the conditions aren't good?

I once had a buddy who was a bleeding white knuckle kinda guy. His boat had 2 speeds.....idle at the launch ramp and WOT every where else. Hull cracks were a way of life.
