I had a Sea Ray 1989 16 BROB which we loved. I also just renovated a 1966 Aluminum - which I just sold - looking for a new winter project.

Don't know a whole lot on these older Sea Rays - maybe some of you can add some insight.

I know pictures can be deceiving but it sure looks good in the pictures, clean, shiney, upholstry looks good, the questions are, has it been kept indoors and taken real good care of, has it just been restored, or is all of the wood rotten. It would be real difficult to answer your question other than the boats were well built back then, there is a lot of wood that could be rotten but if it has been well care for may be solid.
