Big List of Outboard Motors?

Hi All, hope this gets through I've tried posting this 3 times ..newbie here!

Does anyone know of a list of ALL outboard motors? Not just the easy ones, I mean discontinued, outofbusiness, non-domestic.. a BIG list?

Ayuh,... Welcome Aboard Al,.... I don't think there Is a list like that,...

But,... You can write 1,... I'd start here, 'n then maybe here....
Those oughta get ya a pretty long list...

Not sure what you are looking for, but there is a book called "The Old Outboard Book" by Peter Hunn that lists outboard motors from the late 1800's to recent.

I once won a bet at a bar by naming, off the top of my head, fifty different brands of outboard motors, and could have come up with another fifty if needed....
