I'm trying to replace my damaged lower on a 2005 bf90 with a newer one from a bf90d but as soon as I shift forward the shift slider detent balls pop out. Everything lines up as it should and will run in reverse all day until I shift forward. It happens whether I shift by cable or manually with cable disconnected. Does anybody know if there is a way to get this lower to work with my motor.
