Heh D.A.L. I only recently stumbled upon your post. I have been running the K.M.V.4800 with the BF 50 for about two months or more in Honey Harbour. I thing they make a good pair. I won't break any speed records but find it to be a good marriage. The boat is compfortable in a broad range and I couldn't be happier. Let's hope the Honda doesn't get tempramental as I head into the fall because I rely on the package to get me back and forth to an island where I am building. I bought the motor used and didn't realize the mistake I had made buy getting a tiller. I and doing a lot of head scratching over the conversion.you should e mail markw@aci.on.ca
