BF5 over heating!!!

My 5hp just wont pee. I've cleaned the lower unti, replaced impeller, cleaned both ways from the thermostat but when I run it, it wont pee. Is there a chance that there is a problem with the pipe that takes water up not connecting to the engine? I NEED HELP!

take t-stat out and see if water comes up

I have done that and no water. Does this mean that the water line from the water pump is disconnected at the top and if so, is that an easy repair?
