bf45a head repair

I just purchased the 45a, thought it was a good decent deal, but the water in oil says bad deal, local dealer pulled head to inspect, head has pitting not allowing a seal. Question? can a Honda head be milled and where can I find that spec for the machine shop to go by

.004 inch is the clearance tolerance and I have not shaved any more than that off one of these heads with good results.

thanks for the info hondon, just curious about the negitives of going more then .004, I might need to shave 5 or 6
