BF 100 gear case oil leak

I just got a sailboat with an old BF 100 that seems real good other than 2 little "weep" holes in the lower gear case that don't appear in my shop manual. And they weep oil that I think is coming down fron the engine. Can't tell if the holes are from corrosion, or intended to be there. But shouldn't be leaking oil. I suspect a crankshaft lower oil seal is bad. Anyone had any experience with such or any advice? Thanks. Chris

hi mine leaks from there and it just came back from servicing is it possible that you filled it with oil and spilt and it is running down the Leg
