I have a 12ft aluminum boat(rivoted). I filled it up past the seats with water to check for leaks and did not notice any. Is this the best way to check for leaks?? The boat sat for a year before I bought it so I am not sure if that means anything.

Now that you know it holds water, your kids and dogs have a small but workable swimming pool.

Good one...yeah for those hot days where getting home late and taking the boat out are not an option, fill it up with water and get in with an ice cold brewsky. :p
