I was looking at replacing my Hubs, as I don't think they have ever been replaced, or at least not by myself. I have replaced the Bearings a few time, but never the Full Hub.

I noticed some play in the Right side, not sure bout the left, as I had a tire blow out on me this past weekend, and I had to jack it up, and when I put the spare tire on, I noticed that it was moving quite a bit.

I was wondering what the best type of Hub is, I have seen these new type, and was wondering if they are worth it or not also. Any Input would be great, I am not sure what the diameter is that I need yet, I will need to measure it to find out.

Also, please give me any other hubs that you recommend or have had good luck with.

Thanks,
Bryan

You don't need to replace your hub. Play is determined by how much you tighten up the nut at the end of the axle. A slight amount of play is required.

How much play should it have, when you grab onto the tire and go left to right on either side to cause it to move?

Thanks for the input.
