Best time to sell used engine?

I have a (EDITED) to sell from a project boat and wondering when the best time to sell them? Basically trying to figure out when boats from northern states are being prepped for the summer and discovering freeze damage.

April or May,,, June? Doesn't matter just go ahead and sell after Christmas is over?

Hold onto it some one here is gonna post sooner or latter they did something they always do and it didn't work this year. Maybe they practice voodo on the motor and never drain the block or manifold who knows.

Prices go up around the time the ice goes out, as the Fisherman get fired up,...
And usually Peaks by the 4th of July,.. When the Once a year Boaters go on vacation....

No problem on the edit Don S, I was just looking for the time of year to sell a used engine, not sell my specific one here. Sorry about that

Ice out,,, haven't seen that since I was a wee lad up in Wisconsin. Is that around the beginning of April?

Yes, Here in WI. the ice does go out in April . But tonight we are making ice at about 3in a night zero or below Fond du Lac WI.
