What is the best Solution for a swim ladder on a Wellcraft Eclipse 233. The boat currently does not have any ladder on it at all. I am in the process if buying it and this is one of the first projects. The width of the swim platform is about 11". Its not very wide. I was thinking of an under mount ladder, but not sure of the clearance when it is running on plane. Any one have any ideas of suggestions? Thanks

Not sure about specifics of your boat, and I assume you mean depth not width of the platform. My Searay has a ladder that is mounted on teh top of the swim deck and folds up and lays on the swim deck when not in use. I'm sure there are aftermarket ladders like this. It must be up and out of the water when you're underway but I like it.

Not by boat, but same model. Back of the boat out of the water.

Not my boat either, but this is it sitting in the water. I don't like the way the ladder doesn't lay flat. Looking for options.

All three pictures look to be a factory install. They all fold up and rest on the step...not flat on the swim deck. It doesn't look that great and it seems like it would be in the way when not in use.

You may be able to use an undermount style but you need to confirm if there is structure on the underside of the platform.

I sent you these in a PM but thought it might help the discusion to post them here as well.
This is the swim platform and ladder on my Eclipse 216. As you can see, I don't have the extra 'steps' that you do. This is the factory ladder installation.

I agree with RR that an under platform installation might be the cleanest in your case.

Here's the factory ladder on mine. In the photo it's folded up. I like it and there is the grab handle above it.
