best rpm for yamaha 50 4-stroke high thrust?

Hi,
I have two Yamaha 50 hp high thrust 4-stroke engines on my 22' fishing boat. Two questions:
1. What normally is the best rpm range for fuel efficiency?
2. What is the highest rpm I can run the engines without hurting them?
