Best prop for wakeboarding with a 80HP merc?

Looking to change to prop on my merc. It has the factory fitted 3 blade prop (not sure what pitch).<br /><br />I would like something lower pitched as when I'm going 20mph its right in the flat spot of the rev range just before the power band starts and as such its hard to keep a constant speed.<br /><br />Looking to get a 4 blade. Can anyone recommend a pitch?<br /><br />Jay

It would be hard for anyone to make a recomendation without knowing your existing setup. Type/size of boat, RPM at WOT, existing prop pitch etc. Provide more details and you should get some good recomendations.

Hi,<br /><br />Its a 16ft fletcher. Current prop is a 17 pitch. RPM not known as no tacho. Boat currently topping out at 42mph.<br /><br />Need something that will hold it speed well at 20mph or so.<br /><br />Have seen these http://www.propulse.se/ and thought it might be worth a go as they are cheap and I can adjust the pitch myself.<br /><br />Thanks<br /><br />Jay
