Best program removal program for Windows XP?

I just reloaded the OS on a friends laptop. One time before I used Decrapifier to clean out a lot of the junk that came with the original package. It seemed to do a good job. This time it did not even put an Icon on my desktop and all of the stuff I chose to remove was not removed.

I know that MS's Add/Remove Programs is not the best so I am looking for an acknowledged alternative to go in and remove all the trial crap, including McAffee and many others. I want the most complete rooting out.

Oh, and I might add that I hope it would be a free program. There are a lot of suspicious looking programs out there.

An old DOS program called Fdisk, is the best way to get rid of any of the MS operating systems, but you either need to have it on a bootable CD or have an old floppy drive in the system, now of course, if your installing linux, or a new MS operating system, it should give you the option to completely wipe out the hard drive and start over.

Look up Killdisk, I use it at work, it's older but works well

Thanks all but I am not trying to wipe the disc clean. I have already essentially done that by reloading the OS with the Toshiba Recovery disc. I am just trying to most effectively root out all the crap that that comes with the Laptop OS.
