Best power trim fluid type?

I have a 1982 stingray with a 181cid 140hp motor (the iron duke). What is my best power trim fluid type for this year?

What kind of motor/drive do you have?? Come on man...help us, help you. Assuming Mercruiser then use Mercruiser brand stuff.

Honestly, though, any type will work. I believe I have regular ATF in mine right now.

Don't know what you have but!, match what you have . Oil, prob. 30wt. nondetergent, oil color. ATF= pink. Clear=hydraulic fluid. Always check your manual. You have one, right?
