Crappie? Best thing to do with them is toss them back in and get back to Bass or trout fishing... I know we don't have real big fish out here on the west coast... and the crappie are so small we just throw them back in... mabe 8 inches from mouth to tail and 4-5 inches accross.. or high... Only kept one in my life! That was a few weeks ago when we some grandkids come for a visit and one of them caught one.. turned out to be the first fish he had ever caught and wouldn't let grandpa throw it back in! (not that I tried) But I did send it down to his mom to clean and cook <br /><br />Link<br />Oh I will give them little things credit... even being so small they do hit hard and fight like crazy !!

There is nothing in the world like Fresh caught Crappie !! Bass is good eating but my choice would be 5 Small Crappie over one bass anyday !
