Best cover material

I need to get a new cover for my boat,but I don't know what to go with.What's the best marterial?How many oz.?

From what I've heard Sunbrella is the best. Mine is sharkskin, though, and it's great too. Very lightweight and nonpourous. I've been very satisfied.

I also have Sharkskin, which is great, but I understand that Sunbrella is even better.

Be sure to order from iboats. :)

To correct myself, the Sunbrella is 9.25 oz not 9.5 oz. So splitting hairs, but didn't want to confuse anyone. o:)

I made a top for my previous boat out of sunbrella and liked it a lot. I have read on the forum that it may need to be water proof treated after several years out in the weather. I'm not familar with sharkskin but when you price bimnis and covers the sunbrella is most expensive if that means anything. :$

I'm thinking of buying a new sharkskin...I really like my sharkskin bimini material..seems very water proof and lightweight..

I just ordered a new Sharkskinf cover from iBots this week...supposed to arrived the 25th. I'll post a review of it after reception.....
