Best 9.9HP outboard brand

I had a 25HP honda which I loved.

I just bought a 9.9 Suzuki and I am not too impressed so far. It vibrates so much, my aluminium boat (which I had a 1982 Johnson on) is so noisy. My wife now wants to ride in it all the time.

Is Honda that far superior to the other brands. Is tohatsu worth considering?

What about Merc, Yamaha and Nissan?

Will Evinrude make the Etec 9.9 next year?

As I recall, if you are looking at the Merc, Nissan and Tohatsu in that size, you are looking at the identical motor with different paint jobs (and tiller).
FWIW, I've never been all that impressed with Suzuki (anything). I'd buy any of the other brands mentioned in a heartbeat though.
FWIW, I have a new 30 Nissan and love it.
