Hi. So, I need to replace bellows on my 1985 sea ray, 140, alpha one. I'm DYS guy and have no problem get into new adventures, but this is a first time on outdrive. What am i geting in to? DO i need any special tools? If i would hire mechanic to do this, what would be fair price to pay for this kind of work?
THANK YOU

Re: bellow kit

No special tools unless you need to replace the gimbal bearing. That's a PITA but take your time and it will come out. If you pay for the service it should be around $250. Also, when you pull the drive check to see if the u-joints are tight and greased.
