Believe it or not: Car dealership issues refund!

It's true. My wife took her toyota van in for 30k mile service. The "service advisor" told her that tranny flush was "factory-recommended" at this interval. When she told me yesterday, I said "at 30k? no way, maybe if you tow with it every day." Check the owners manual, sure enough, it says "inspect trans fluid."<br /><br />She called the manager today, after getting the song & dance about how it really should be done at 30k, yada yada yada, she told him "but you said it was 'Toyota-recommended' and that's the only reason I approved it." She picks up a check tomorrow!<br /><br /> Believe it or not!
