Finally had one made up at the canvas shop who did my enclosure and trailerable cover 9 years ago. Enclosure and side windows still look brand new!
The trick to keeping them looking new is before folding and putting in the storage bag i lay a thin towel between the clear plastic so they cant rub against each other and mar.

Being a side console my wife never had anything to block those chilly early morning winds (unless I put up the front and side windows), so this new dodger will deflect not only the wind but the occasional splash that comes off the bow when the winds pick up.

The Sunbrella fabric bimini was a stock one from a national online boating supply company which was the first accessory I added.... I think it was like $189 (9 years ago). Then shortly after the bimini I had the shop make me up the Sunbrella enclosure which extends my boating season 2 months before the summer and 2 months after. That was around $700. The trailerable cover in top gun material was around $500.

But check out the dodger they did for me that I picked up on friday. They also did around 3 long needed repairs to the trailerable cover. Around $1500 for the repairs and the dodger in Sunbrella and the custom folding 2 bow frame. Not cheap but it is 9 years later from when I had them do the other work for me. Donnie from Fitzers canvas in Rotterdam, NY did the work and these guys are artists with canvas!

Bring on those chilly northeast winds!

They did a great job on the dodger, looks like a small adult or a kid might even be able to take a nap up inside there.

My wife is planning on taking a nap in there on these flat boat cushions that I have. She gets bored while I'm trolling at 1 mph for lakers with for hours. They put in an unzippable plastic window which when rolled down there is a screen filling the window for ventilation. Plus a privacy screen to keep the sun out. Also makes a nice cuddy to toss stuff into.

Here are a few shots with the side windows up.
The windows and front enclosure make for a toasty ride for our cool northeast early morning runs . . .
Best investment I made for the boat just after I bought it back in 2007.
