bearing spinning in housing

I have a 85 hp. out board the bearing in the top of the engine is spinning in the housing, no way to tighten it up , can I use some type of compound-ie. glue to stop the outer ring of the bearing from spinning in the housing . <br />Thanks Jim.

Mich the bore and the od of outer race of bearing .whatever difference is use 1/2 that thickness of shim stock trimmed to fit around outer race.just a quick ,cheap fix method.Depending on clearance another method would be to stake the housing in several spots along od of bearing fit
