The bearing buddy is easy to remove. Just take a piece of 2 by 4 and hold it against one side of the bearing buddy and pound the wood with a hammer. When the bearing buddy starts to move, pound on the opposite side. Repeat until it comes off. <br /><br />I have never tried the other way but I suspect that it would be more difficult.
Rubber mallet method is by far the easiest...no need for the wood block (unless of course you don't own a rubber mallet.) Same concept either way. Tap it with something soft to prevent dents and nudge it off.
If it doesn't work, get a bigger hammer. Always works for me... <br /><br /><br />(the other guys are right, it'll come off nice and easy with a few taps)
