Bearing Buddies

How can you tell how much grease is in the hub with the bearing buddies on?? How often do you have to add and how much at a time??<br />Thanks

Howdy, SM.<br /><br />As you add grease to a BB, the plate moves out, compressing a spring. If you find the spring uncompressed, repack and regrease.<br /><br />

don't fill the bearing buddy completly as you can blow out the rear seal
