You Might try fishing Off Boliver Island 6 miles from ferry at Shirley's Bait Camp. Launch boat Go 1 1/2 miles out to Hanna's reef.they can tell you exactly where to go,get there very early 5 or 6 am catch shrimp boats before they come in and they'll give you all the piggy perch they have.You may need to hit two or three shrimpers to get all the perch you can.Use med.tackle with 15 to 20 lb test #6 treble no weight hook perch jusy in front of dorsel fin and let free swim and hang on. We go out when others are using live shrimp and catching 2 & 3 lb fish and we catch 5 to 10 lb specs and reds.water on feef is only 4 or 5' deep.Try this setup next time you get out to Bay area and you won't be disappointed.<br /> Good Luck!<br /> Mike E
