Was at work one day,getting a 28ft with twin 350's I/O's ready to deliver.
The owner was there, he was sticking his head up under the drives and generally getting in the way.
He's stuck his head up under the drive again and I said, you better move back as the lift was at it's max load.
He said , Oh I'll be ok.
At that time the rear of the lift let go and the boat dropped onto the trailer.(we were switching from a shop trailer to a new one).
When it dropped he still had his hand on the swim platform. He had just pulled his head out from under the platform.
I said SEE I told you NOT to do that,You touching the platform made it fall.
By that time he'd turned white as a ghost and started shaking.
He just closed his mouth and RAN to his car and didn't come back for 2 days.
He was supposed to take delivery that day.
