Re: BBQ Biker Hits a Snag.
I've hauled some pretty wild loads on some pretty ratty old equipment. On the few occasions I've tangled (slightly) with the law, I've encountered folks with enough down home experience to recognize poverty, necessity, and ingenuity, and they got by the problem without causing me undue damage.
Wildest one was a huge load of 16' lumber on a 1948 Chevrolet 1 ton. Rear duals had about 10,000 lbs on em, front axle maybe 300 lbs. Cool wheelies at every stop sign. When I got home and tried to go across the field with it, it went down like an elevator.
That barbeque on a motorbike would be considered hardly worth hauling in Japan.
