I had this boat in storage outdoor under tarp cover for the last 9 years. Before storage I have put oil in the cylinder, and cover up the carb. The gas tank was full at that time.
I'm getting ready to restore the interior,
I NEED TO KNOW WHAT TO DO BEFORE CRANKING THR ENGINE? ALSO IS THERE ANYTHING TO PUT IN THE GAS TANK TO CLEAN OLD GAS?
THANK YOU
Mario Smorto
msmorto@aol.com

Pull all the plugs, squirt about an ounce of oil in each cylinder. Put wrench on front of motor with plugs out and verify that the motor turns over freely.

As far as the gas, the only thing to put in the tank to deal with it is a siphon hose. Get it out of there, 9 year old gas is worthless and will cause more harm than good.

Thank's CCREW
I was thinking of pulling the tank out and have it cleaned, do you think its worth the trouble of pulling it out, that would mean cutting the floor to get it out.
