bayliner used merc 233 and 255 factory install skagit offshore

I have factory owner manual and in it it states that the skagit offhore and many other boats came with 233hp and 255hp though I do not know what a 255hp is but am sure the 233hp is the 5.8 thus 351 I can attach a copy if you do not believe me what is a 255hp

I pulled the 188 out and had the 233 or 255 put in it has merc wireing how do i attach the spec sheet

ok i dont care can i adjust the carb linkage so it opens what do you sujest what ever the motor the caeb is not opening all the way I can't make a prop decission until i figure this out
