Bayliner Marriage (can my 2 boats become 1)

Brand new to the forum but i cant find (nor do i know where to look) any info on doing this. i have 2 bayliners 1 is a 1987 19" bayliner Capri with a good hull and a bad 305 and an omc outdrive. the other is a 1989 Bayliner Capri with a bad hull and a good 4.3l mercruiser with a alpha 1 outdrive. can i put the 4.3 in and aplha 1 in the good hull.

Ayuh,..... Welcome Aboard,...... Sure, it can be done,.... The keyhole in the transom is the same,.....

Just remove every bit of the OMC driveline, pulleys to prop, then put the entire Merc driveline back in,.....
