Re: BAYLINER CIERA 2556 COMMAND BRIDGE

Hello VANGELIS,

I don't have personal experience with Bayliners. I've been drawn to look a few times because they are exiciting good looking boats - BUT -

Some of the used boats I've really looked hard at, benieth the glass have wood problems.

The other downside CAN be low resale value.

Below are two links that can tell you a lot more than I can. And I'm sure there will be many on the board that will be able to share their personal experience.

JD Power: http://www.jdpower.com/boats/jdpa_ratings/FindBoatRatingsResults.jsp

NADA Pricing http://www2.nadaguides.com/

I have seen some really good prices on good looking Bayliners out there.

Good luck, I hope you find the right boat for you.

Re: BAYLINER CIERA 2556 COMMAND BRIDGE

My brother just sold his 1991 Bayliner 2556. What a great boat is was. I wanted to buy it but couldn't get my wife to let me have a second boat. It was a family favorite, taking relatives, friends and Boy Scouts to Catalina Island for multiday trips year after year. What a great running and handling and good looking boat it was. He had put in a factory new 7.4 MPI Mercrusier in it recently. He is rich so no big deal to him - who ever bought it got one excellent boat. I hope you enjoy yours as much as we enjoyed my brothers. My brother stepped up to a 28' Bayliner again with a command bridge.
