Pemar,

This boat/engine package should be in the 1986 to 1989 year range. The engine is a marinized version of the Ford 2.3 liter OHC four. cyl. A very durable package. The gas should make NO difference. Any gas of at least 87 octane is OK.

Sounds like carb. problems or a partially clogged fuel filter.

Try clymer manuals at: www.clymer.com

Forgot the prop part. I would try a 13 1/4" dia. by a 17" or 19" pitch. This engine can rev past 5000.
