hello everyone, I recently invested in my first boat. It's a 15ft spitfire with a 90 horsepower Johnson seahorse. I'm not sure of the exact year but I think it's somewhere in the early 80s. When I got the boat all the cables from the motor where disconnected which is fine because I knew how to hook the steering cable and throttle cables up. My only problem is I can't find out where to hook the battery up to the motor at. this may be a stupid question but it's my first boat so I'm still learning as I go along. If anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated.

Re: battery to motor

Hey great to have you onboard. The fastest way is to follow the big wire on your starter back to a solenoid. That would have a couple of small wires and a empty big post. The + battery cable hooks to it. If you search around this site you will find pictures etc. The ground goes to the engine block. You may be able to see where it was.
