battery switch and cables

hello guys I'm redoing the battery cables from my searay the engine is out so is time to fix everything and leave everything clean and nice, what is the correct way to do the battery cables, I have two batteries and a battery switch. prior owner cut and did you ugly tape stuff that is going away, but I need to know how the where the cable for starter and alternator goes to do it right thanks.

For straight wiring a switch use this one. You can start on either one, or both. Never move the switch while engine is running. In both selection, your engine is charging both, in 1 or 2 it is charging either one which is selected. Also the Alternator in normal mode goes to the 90amp fuse on the starter for using straight connections see last pic

If your second battery is used for the house and not a backup, use either the switch above, an isolator, or automatic charging relay.

Automatic charging relay (ACR) which does not require a switch and charges batteries every time the engine is running or battery charger is turned on. Switch can also be installed for switching from 1,2 or both

I would use the first option I can't see the pictures thanks.
